CBRE has announced plans to open a office in Northwes Florida. The company, which currently has six offices across the state of Florida, has hired former CEO of JPB Commercial Real Estate Advisors Tom Watson as Vice President and put him in charge of building the agency in the Panhandle region. CBRE is Florida’s top ranking commercial real estate firm based on size and deal volume. Joining Watson in northwest Florida office will be Philip Sherrill, Senior Associate, also a former JPB professional.
“Demand for commercial real estate services in Northwest Florida is robust as a result of the area’s well-established tourism sector, vibrant retail segment, strong aerospace/defense industry, growing manufacturing base, and of course, active office market around the state capital,” said Mary Jo Eaton, President, CBRE Florida and Latin America.
