The Chinese investor Wanda Group is in talks to buy a 75-percent stake in the Marina d’Or holiday resort in Oropesa del Mar, Spain. The resort is currently owned by Jesús Ger. A deal could total €1.2bn. The Marina d’Or includes five hotels, a spa, a theme park and a golf course. Wanda Group said it plans to make at least three other overseas acquisitions over the next six months.
