VGP bought land from Starland along the D1 motorway outside Bratislava where it plans to develop a logistics park. The Triblavina zone stretches between the Bernolákovo and Ivanka při Dunaji exits along both sides of the motorway. Totaling 56 ha, it has the capacity for 250,000 sqm of logistics and industrial space. Jan van Geet, the CEO of VGP, said this will be one of the largest zones in his company’s portfolio. Construction is to start next year. Starland owns 200 ha along the D1 and is working on a project called City Park, which will include a residential zone.
