CEFC buys Le Palais Art Hotel Prague, looks at Grandhotel Pupp

CEFC is continuing its investment spree in the Czech Republic. Following its purchases of Živnobanka and Martinicky palace in central Prague as well as the Slavia football club and a share of air carrier Travel Service, the Chinese investor is shifting its focus to hotels. It recently bought Le Palais Art Hotel Prague for an undisclosed price from the Italian company Torino-Praga Invest. The hotel, located on U Zvonařky street in Prague 2-Vinohrady, offers 60 rooms. CEFC is also looking for purchase opportunities in Karlovy Vary, where it is in talks about a potential takeover of Grandhotel Pupp, according to Lidové noviny.
