The Chinese company Nantong Sumu Biological Technology is building a sunflower oil production plant in Burgas, according to Bulgarian Economy Minister Bozhidar Lukarski.
“The advantages for Bulgaria compared to other Balkan states are its membership to the EU, stable parliamentary and government support, the lowest taxes within the EU and highly qualified workers,” said Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov. Bulgarian exports to China hit BGN 1.043bn (€532.48m) in 2014.
