Acting for PPF banka on the refinancing of facilities for a multi-use industrial complex in Bratislava, owned by international property fund AlfaGroup, is an excellent example of Wolf Theiss’ ability to support Czech companies on international transactions through its network of integrated offices in thirteen countries across Central and Eastern Europe.
Working closely with the Bratislava office, Wolf Theiss advised on both the structuring of the transaction as well as the Czech loan facilities documentation and Slovak security.
Wolf Theiss regional finance expert, Mills Kirin, notes that “the Slovak market has been very strong this year with a number of Czech banks and corporates taking advantage of opportunities not just in Slovakia but across the region. The closing of another successful transaction demonstrates the Prague office’s strength in supporting Czech lenders anywhere they do business.” The transaction closed on 5 October 2015.
Wolf Theiss teams were led by Counsel Mills Kirin, Ivana Lobotková (Associate, Prague), Luboš Frolkovič (Partner, Bratislava) and Marián Šulík (Associate, Bratislava).
