Panattoni Europe has secured BREEAM Excellent certification for the logistics facility it developed for Amazon in Panattoni Park Prague Airport I. This is the highest rating a logistics project has ever received. “Panattoni Europe is honored that the building for Amazon has received the International BREEAM certificate rating Excellent, placing the logistics hall (with a scoring of 76.8 percent) in first place within this particular category in the Czech Republic and worldwide,” said Pavel Sovička, managing director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It is also the highest scoring ever received for completed Amazon facilities in the world, Sovička added. Amazon’s Prague facility uses LED lighting sensors and utility meters to optimize energy consumption.
