Osijek Airport to construct airplane maintenance center

20 November 2015

Croatia’s Osijek Airport will be constructing a €2.9m maintenance, repair and overhaul center. The project will be built and financed by the Zagreb Traffic Institute and is planned to be completed in the spring of 2016. The first phase of the project includes the construction of a 1,200 sqm hangar, with another hangar to be built afterwards.
“With this investment, we plan to employ some fifty to eighty people during the first phase and over 100 in subsequent phases,” said Boris Smrečki, head of Zagreb’s Traffic Institute.
