EY: Confidence in the Czech economy growing among business leaders

20 November 2015

Confidence in the Czech economy is on the rise among Czech senior executives, with 82 percent convinced that the economic situation is improving. That’s an improvement from 58 percent last year, according to the Barometer of investment confidence EY published on the basis of a poll of 57 Czech top managers across 11 sectors. Nine in ten managers believe that the profitability of their business is growing and 40 percent plan to acquire at least one company within a year. Half of them are looking for investment opportunities outside the Czech Republic, primarily in Germany and China. Worsening of the political and economic situation in the Eurozone are seen by Czech business leaders as the main threat to their business.
