Alexander Mann Solutions, a global outsourcing services provider for HR processes, has opened its SSC for EMEA in the Alchemia office complex in Gdańsk. The new backoffice amounts to nearly 2,800 sqm of space in a lease that left the building with no vacant space to offer.
The company has hired 300 people, says Jola Gantkowska, Head of Operations Mainland Europe at Alexander Mann Solutions, adding that the strong supply of high-skilled labor in Gdańsk is what originally attracted the company to the city, along with support from the local government. It’s AMS’s second office in the city, having opened its regional division there six months ago. AMS will occupy floors 8 and 9 in Alchemia’s second phase, which is being sold to Polish Real Estate Holding (PHN), a state-run property company.
