Romania ranked fifth among European Union countries for growth in its construction sector for the month of September.
Growth in the construction sector grew just 0.6 percent in the European Union, though growth in eurozone countries fared better, producing an average of 1.8 percent expansion.
Romania’s pace of growth reached 4.3 percent, and was slower only than Slovakia (26 percent), the Netherlands (10.2 percent), Hungary (8.1 percent), and Sweden (7.4 percent).
