PHN buying Alchemia buildings in Gdansk from Torus

18 November 2015

The Polish Real Estate PHN is set to acquire two buildings in Gdansk from the Alchemia office complex. PHN is paying the developer Torus nearly PLN 260m under the terms of the preliminary agreement for the two office buildings, totaling 25,000 sqm of space. The transaction is expected to close in Sept. 2016, making it possible for the buyer to secure external financing to acquire the project. Until then, the price is a subject to change. State Street is the anchor tenant of the second phase of Alchemia, having signed a 10-year lease for 14,000 sqm earlier this year.
Torus sold the first phase of the complex earlier this year to a JV between local fund manager REINO Partners and Bluehouse Capital Advisor.
