Charlotte-based Pharos Hospitality has acquired a portfolio of seven hotels in Florida, including the Aloft Tampa Downtown Hotel. The $60 million 500 room deal also includes the Holiday Inn Express by IHG, Tampa/Busch Gardens; Holiday Inn Express by IHG, Tampa/USF Telecom Park; Holiday Inn Express by IHG, Venice; Candlewood Suites by IHG, Fort Myers and the Best Western Plus, Bradenton. Liberty Group, based in Tampa, was the seller.
