St. Tropez Property Owner, a joint venture between Lincoln Property Co. and AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corp. has purchased the St. Tropez apartments in Plantation for $88.6 million. The 376-unit garden-style apartment complex located at on Cleary Blvd sold for a little over $235,638 per unit. Built in 1995 on a 32.2 acre site, the property features two pools, a fitness center, two tennis courts, a playground, and a lake. The seller, BIT Investment Twenty-Five, is an affiliate of Baltimore-based PNC Realty Investments. The deal was completed with a $50 million mortgage provided from Lincoln National Life Insurance Co.
