House prices increase in Spain

The average house prices in Spain have increased by 0.4 percent since the beginning of the year, according to the latest report by Tinsa. Houses along the Mediterranean Coast and in major cities have seen the biggest increases. Prices on the Madrid market, for example, increased by 0.7 percent y-o-y in the third quarter. With an average asking price of €2,044/sqm, it takes around 6.1 months to sell a house in Madrid, according Tinsa. In Barcelona, meanwhile, it takes around 6.5 months on average to sell a house.
