Toledo, Ohio-based REIT Welltower Inc. has purchased the Aston Gardens senior living community in Parkland for $78.62 million. Located at 9401 Aston Gardens Court, the 349,350 square foot property was built in 2001 on a 19.9-acre site. The facility provides independent living, assisted living and memory care units, including daily meals and medical services. The seller, Boca Raton-based Kayne Anderson Real Estate Advisors, bought the asset in 2013 for $62.81 million. The deal was completed with the assumption of a $57.67 million mortgage from Fannie Mae.
