Orlando-based KUD International has submitted plans seeking permission from the State University System of Florida’s Board of Governors to build a boutique hotel on the University of Central Florida campus. The plans 135 room hotel and conference center would be built at the intersection of Alafaya Trail and University Boulevard. If approved, the state does not guarantee the project will proceed, but it clears the way for UCF’s board of trustees to make a final vote on the project. If accepted, the project is expected to complete by June 2017.
