Benson Elliot Capital Management LLP and Walton Street Capital have finalized the takeover of Starwood’s hotel portfolio. Worth €420m, the portfolio totals eight hotels, including the Sheraton hotel in Warsaw. Host Hotels & Resorts, the JV set up between Benson Elliot Capital Management LLP and Walton Street Capital, will manage hotels in Germany, Italy, Belgium, France and Poland, totaling 2,308 rooms. Paul Hasting and Deloitte brokered the deal.
