Miami-Dade to consider financing affordable housing project on NW 24th Ave

29 October 2015

Superior Manor Apartments, an affiliate of the nonprofit Urban League Housing Corp. of Greater Miami, will seek $13.5 million in financing from the Miami-Dade County Commission for an affordable housing project. The new project will sit on a 2.1-acre site just east of the Brownsville Metrorail Station at 5155 N.W. 24th Avenue. The 139-unit apartment community would be funded through county issued bonds. The Miami-Dade County commission will consider the proposal at its next meeting, on Nov. 3.
