The Spanish-based NH Hotel Group has signed a 20-year contract with GBI AG to develop a hotel in Mannheim. The new NH hotel will go up near Paradeplatz. The property will feature 220 rooms as well as a conference room for up to 300 people. Completion is set for 2018. NH Hotel Group was represented by CMS Germany on all legal aspects of the contract negotiations.
