Poland jumped from the 32nd to the 25th spot on the World Bank’s top investment destination list, placing it ahead of France, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Maciej Mataczyński, who has been working with government administrators to improve the investment process within the country, says the World Bank ranking marks a significant improvement from a decade earlier, when Poland placed 75th. “Global economies are constantly competing, which makes it even more of a challenge for us to repeat the result next year,” says Jarosław Bełdowski, a partner at the Sójka, Maciak and Mataczyński law firm.
