US SPX Flow shifting German, Danish factories to Poland

US SPX Flow is moving production facilities from Denmark and Germany to the Polish town of Bydgoszcz. The company provides automated equipment for the food, pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. The investment, which will add another 27,900 sqm to the company’s existing factory in Bydgoszcz, is a part of a long-term investment plan for US SPX to transfer its operations to Poland, worth USD 65m. The company said that it expects to deploy most of the funds by June 2016 and that it has secured USD 25m in tax breaks. US SPX’s German and Danish factories are set to close.
