Lego to invest up to €50m in Hungary

Danish toy manufacturer Lego is planning to upgrade its operations in Hungary with the construction of a new warehouse facility and improvements to an assembly plant in the town of Nyíregyháza. In all, the work is expected to take two years to complete. The cost of the investment could run to as much as €50m. The Hungarian news agency MTI says Lego Manufacturing Kft made a net profit of HUF 788.7m last year on revenue of HUF 28.2bn.
