Summit Hotel Properties buys Hyatt House Miami Airport

The Hyatt House Miami Airport has been sold to Austin, Texas-based Summit Hotel Properties for $37.7 million. The 156 room property located at 5710 Blue Lagoon Drive traded for just under $241,670 per room. Built on a 4.9-acre site in 1999, the two-story hotel totals 124,323 square feet featuring a pool, fitness and business center. The seller, Atlanta-based Noble Investment Group, bought the asset in 2011 for $18.35 million. This purchase marks Summit’s sixth in Florida.
