Ocean Bank has provided a $34.5 million loan to West Brickell Hotel, managed by Pedro Villar of SunView Companies and Francisco Arocha of HES Group. The company will break ground on a 24 story condo hotel on SW 11th Street under the Indigo and Sojourn brands in Miami’s Brickell financial district. The mixed-use project will feature a 140 room hotel under the Indigo brand with a restaurant and 2,000 sf of meeting space plus a 90-room extended stay hotel called Sojourn. This will mark the third location in Miami for Indigo, which falls under the InterContinental Hotel Group brand. The developer bought the .38 acre property in 2013.
