With an investment of nearly PLN 100m, mBank is building new headquarters in the city of Łódż. The new office building is part of the Nowe Centrum Łodzi scheme, which will neighbor the EC1 project and the city’s main railway station. Ghelamco is reportedly partnering with Budomal in the project. The bank’s new headquarters along with Skanska’s Brama Miasta office project (now under construction) at Nowe Centrum Łodzi, will add a total of 80,000 sqm of office space to the Łódź market.
Jacek Popiołek, head of mBank’s real estate department, said that the company is considering transferring some part of its operations from Warsaw to Łódź.
