Property Markets Group has submitted plans for Vice, a new apartment tower in downtown Miami. The scheme calls for a 32 story building with a total of 705,750 square feet, 464 units, and 7,000 square feet of retail along with 670 parking spaces. The amenities would include an 18,000 sq ft pool deck and a 6,000-square-foot gym. The new project is located at 243 N.E. 3rd Street near the College/Bayside Metromover station and Miami-Dade College’s downtown campus. PMG acquired the property out of receivership in late 2014 for $80 million.
The developer will targeting a younger demographic, making its more affordable by offering units ranging in size from single bedroom, 600 square feet for $1,500 per month and two bedroom units with up to 900 sq ft. The plan will be considered by the city’s Urban Development Review Board on Oct. 21.
