Hillwood Investment Properties expanded its exposure on the Polish warehouse market with the acquisition of three projects from the Polish developer 7R Logistic. Located in Gdańsk-Kowale, the portfolio totals 60,000 sqm of space leased to tenants like FMCG, BBK (Home&You), Bać-Pol, Promostars, Jotun, Intrac and Quick Service Logistics.
The US giant is targeting Poland’s biggest markets, including Warsaw, Silesia and Poznań.
Having recently opened its Polish division, the company says it sees great potential to develop large-scale commercial schemes. “We’re interested in the management of valuable assets, but also in improving their value,” said Hubert Michalak, managing director of Hillwood Europe, adding that while it holds a significant portfolio in Poland, the company is interested in more JV projects in Poland.
