Plans for a new water treatment facility are underway in the town of Subotica in northern Serbia. Officials will hold a tender for the €24.6m project in the fourth quarter. Subotica representatives applied for a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to help finance the water system upgrade project.
The project includes the construction of a water treatment plant, installing main pipelines and water wells and replacing raw water mains.
