Parkway Properties Inc. has purchased the Harborview Plaza office building in the Tampa neighborhood of Westshore for $49 million. The 205,000 square-foot building on the Rocky Point waterfront at 3031 N Rocky Point Drive traded for just over $239 per square foot. The seller, Raleigh, North Carolina-based Highwoods Properties, closed last week on the SunTrust Financial Centre in downtown Tampa. Harborview Place “represents a unique opportunity to aggregate additional scale in the Westshore submarket of Tampa at an attractive basis,” Parkway CEO Jim Heistand said in a statement. With this purchase, Parkway now controls almost 1.7 million square feet of office space in Tampa.
