6 October 2015

Serbian confectionery maker Bambi-Banat opened a new production line in Pozarevac. The company invested €10m in the new unit, where it plans to produce Plazma biscuits.

In addition to Pozarevac, Bambi also operates a production unit in Vrsac. In February, the private equity fund Mid Europa Partners took over Danube Foods Group (DFG), which owns Bambi as well as dairy producer Imlek and Knjaz Milos, Serbia’s leading producer of mineral water and other non-alcoholic beverages.
