XCity Investment, the development arm of the Polish State Railways (PKP), is planning to redevelop the its Informatyka site in Warsaw’s CBD into offices. Located at Aleje Jerozolimskie street, the €143m investment will neighbor PKP’s West Stadion and Eurocentrum projects. Construction is expected to break ground by the end of 2017, with completion set for 2021
Earlier this month, PKP announced its plans involving 12 development projects, worth a total of €8.84bn, in Warsaw, Katowice, Elbląg, Kłodzko, Koło, Koszalin, Kutno, Łowicz, Oleśnica, Chorzów, Bielsko-Biała and Skarżysko-Kamienna. The company’s real estate portfolio includes 10,000 projects across Poland. “This includes both railway stations as well as some prime plots in some of the biggest Polish cities. These are the assets we see as having the biggest potential and will help us to expand our development activity,” said Jarosław Bator of PKP.
