Knightsbridge, a British company specializing in student housing management, acquired a former printworks factory on la Cuesta de San Vicente in Madrid that it intends to renovate into a dormitory. The scheme will include 350 bedrooms as well as study rooms, a gym and an entertainment area. Knightsbridge is planning to open two residence halls in Madrid and two others in Alcalá de Henares and Barcelona. The company entered the Spanish market in 2002 with the purchase of the Galdos residence halls for more than €20m.
