7 September 2015

Globe Trade Centre will issue 108 million new shares on the Warsaw Stock Exchange on Thursday at PLN 5.47 per share. The step has already been approved by Poland’s financial supervisory KNF. The money will fuel GTC’s development plans within the CEE region, including Galeria Wilanów, currently underway in Warsaw, University Business Park in Łódź and the second phase of FortyOne offices in Belgrade. GTC will also earmark some money for office and retail acquisitions. The company already came up with a short list of acquisitions within the region, targeting office project with growth potential.

“Lone Star, our majority shareholder, informed us that they support our strategy and will participate in the share issue pro-rata to its holding, which gives us a lot of confidence in the success of this issue,” said GTC CEO Thomas Kurzmann.
