Prague Deputy Mayor Matěj Stropnický (Green Party) has been stripped of more duties. The city council decided that Stropnický can no longer cooperate with the Institute of Planning and Development (IPR), which oversees city planning and prepares the master plan. The deputy mayor for transport, Petr Dolínek (Social Democrats), initiated the vote. Dolínek said that Stropnický did not follow the law while managing the IPR. Mayor Adriana Krnáčová will manage the Institute. Stropnický claims there is pressure coming from developers following recent changes the mayor made to the city’s construction rules.
