Sungwoo Hitech is planning to build a new manufacturing complex next to its production plant in Žilina. The company, which is a supplier of Kia Motors, plans to add a 28,000 sqm warehouse to its existing plant and create 300 new jobs. Rather than update the plant’s technology, Sungwoo plans to expand its existing production of metal sheet car parts in order to accelerate production. Sungwoo currently employs 760 at its Žilina plant.
