The Czech government is offloading a former monastery in an auction, and it’s demanding that bids begin at CZK 790m. A successful sale would make it the most expensive state building ever sold, writes the server lidovky.cz. The buildings were refurbished in order to be able to serve as office space for several state institutions. Under the conditions of the auction, bids must rise by at least CZK 300,000 and observers speculate that the final price could exceed CZK 1bn.
