While the Polish automotive sector could grow by as much as 59 percent this year, the market lacks a skilled workforce, warns Exact System. The company claims 30 percent more employees will be needed just to maintain its output. In its most recent survey, Exact System says that 39 percent of automobile manufacturers in Poland are expected to increase their hiring efforts in the second half of the year, the biggest jump since 2012.
“Car sales has been growing for the last two years on the European market, which means factories in the region have increased their productions. This has had a positive effect on automotive manufacturers in Poland, as more than 80 percent of goods they’re producing is being exported to EU markets,” says Paweł Gos, president of Exact System.
