Malta-based Premier Capital has taken over the franchise and the operations of McDonald’s Romania. Premier Capital already owns McDonald’s franchise in five other countries: Malta, Greece, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, but Romania’s network will be the largest one operated by the Maltese company, according to Ziarul Financiar.
McDonald’s Romania has entered the local market in 1995 and currently operates 67 restaurants nationwide.
