A Chinese investment company is considering investment into the Leoš Janáček Airport, Mošnov – Ostrava. The company, whose annual turnover is USD 750bn, focuses on air transport and has already acquired shares in airports in London and Singapore. It’s currently in discussions for the Ostrava airport with the Moravian-Silesian regional governor. The Chinese investment company is considering three models including share acquisition, a partnership in cargo transport or an outright acquisition of the airport. The Moravia-Silesia region recently took over the Mošnov airport from the Czech airport authority, writes Hospodářské noviny.
