A joint venture between Uniondale and the Connecticut-based developer Belfonti Cos. has purchased a residential development site in the Biscayne Shores neighborhood of Miami-Dade County for $16 million. The 5.8-acre site at 11150 Biscayne Blvd is located one block west of Biscayne Bay and 10 blocks north of the Miami Shores Golf and Country Club. The building site has approval from the county for 351 market-rate units and 51 workforce housing units in a 9-story building. The seller assembled the property in 2012 in a series of three deals for a total of $7.23 million.
