Verzasca Group received approval from Sunny Isles Beach commissioners to build a scaled-down version of its Aurora condo tower. The project at 17555 Collins Ave. will now consist of 61 units on 16 stories and 135 parking spaces. The average size of the units was reduced from 1,750 square feet to 1,600 square feet. The company plans to launch sales in a few months and break ground sometime this year. Verzasca acquired the former Denny’s restaurant site for $10.5 million in April.
