The Allen Morris Company, Lamm & Company Partners and Millenia Partners are teaming up to build Maitland City Centre, a $66 million mixed-use development. The scheme, to go up across the street from Maitland’s City Hall, will include 35,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and offices, a seven-story parking garage and a six-story, 244-unit apartment community. The project, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando, is expected to break ground in the fall and is slated for completion in 2017.
“The property’s appeal is the village-style concept. It will include a park, rental apartments, retail space, restaurants and office space, and within a walkable community,” said W. Allen Morris, chairman & CEO of The Allen Morris Company. “It is an opportunity to develop a true, mixed-use project.”
