Czech industrial supply up by 92,000 sqm in Q2

Industrial space on the Czech market increased by 92,000 sqm in the second quarter of the year according to data released by the Industrial Research Forum. The largest completions included a 32,100 sqm warehouse at Prologis Park Prague Airport for Červa Export Import, as well as a 28,900 sqm facility for Mall.cz at Prologis Park Prague-Jirny.

Meanwhile, more than 505,000 sqm of new industrial space broke ground during Q2, with 81 percent of that figure pre-leased by the end of June. Construction started on a 29,200 sqm warehouse for Globus at Prologis Park Prague-Jirny as well as a 21,700 sqm plant for Faiveley Transport at VGP Park Pilsen and 18,700 sqm hall at Business Park Ostrava for Adler Czech. Panattoni Park Prague Airport (133,000 sqm) and a 61,900 sqm European distribution center for Primark at CTPark Bor are both scheduled for completion in Q3.
