The Best Western Movieland Hotel has submitted plans to the City of Orlando to add more than 500 rooms to the premises in a new 35-story building and rename the property the Parkview Resort. The plan also includes two new restaurants, five levels of structured parking and a 500-seat banquet hall. The Orlando Municipal Planning Board will review the plan on Aug. 18.
