LaSalle Investment Management acquired retail warehouse park in Bedburg near Cologne. The vendor of the property through the portfolio “Pan-Europa Fonds Nr.1” is the Hamburg-based Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate. The property was completed in 2000 and offers 13,105 sqm as well as 510 parking spaces. Tenants include retail multiple Real, Danisches Bettenlager furniture store and a MediMax consumer electronics store. All of the rental units are let on long-term leases.
“The retail warehouse park was sold according to plan within the framework of the fund’s disinvestment phase. With the return on investment it generated, the property positively contributed to the fund performance,” said Hans-Joachim Lehmann, Managing Director at Warburg-HIH Invest and Head of Transaction Management Germany.
