BGŻ BNP Paribas signs on at HB Reavis’ GBC II

3 July 2015

More than year after completing one of the biggest mergers in the Polish banking sector, BGŻ BNP Paribas signed a lease at Gdański Business Center II in Warsaw. The company will move into the building’s second floor in December. BGŻ BNP Paribas is the first tenant in the HB Reavis-led project’s second phase. No further details regarding the deal were disclosed.

BGŻ finalized its merger with BNP Paribas in 2014. Observers had been speculating since last year how the merger would impact the Warsaw office market. It was unclear if BGŻ would leave its Kasprzaka 10 offices. BNP Paribas, meanwhile, recently finished renovating its space at Trinity Park and signed a lease extension last year.

Gdański Business Center will add a total of 51,800 sqm of office space to the Warsaw office market. The project’s first phase was delivered last year and is currently 80 percent leased.
