Immofinanz acquired the remaining 50-percent stake in Empark Mokotów Business Park in Warsaw from its joint venture partner, a Heitman LCC fund. The value of the transaction, which still needs to be approved by Poland’s anti-monopoly regulator, was not disclosed. Immofinanz expects to close the deal within the next two months. JLL advised Heitman in the transaction.
One of the biggest office complexes in the CEE region, Empark offers 117,000 sqm of space in nine buildings. It is Immofinanz’s 19th project under management on the Warsaw office market. Magdalena Kowalewska, the company’s country manager for office and logistics asset management in Poland, said the deal will make it possible for Immofinanz to add value to the project to meet expectations of new tenants.
