Tennessee-based DAN Trust submitted plans to Miami-Dade County to build a 175-room Staybridge Suites hotel. The 12-story, 31,000-square-foot project will be located at 19680 W. Dixie Highway. The plans call for 9,000 square feet of meeting space and 8,396 square feet of retail as well as eight townhouse units and 241 parking spaces. DAN Trust bought the property for $3.4 million in December 2012. DLW Architects and Pillar Consultants prepared the site plan for submission to the county.
