Creditors agree to write off part of Váhostav debts

Creditors of Váhostav, Slovak construction company, currently in restructuring process, have agreed to write off two-thirds of the company’s debts. The decision is yet to be approved by the court. The banks have reportedly given up €4m, enabling creditors to collect €180 per invoiced €1,000. Váhostav will be making payments in five annual payments starting on June 30, 2015. Some of the creditors, however, were not satisfied with the outcome and plan to sue for a higher amount. The server sme.sk writes, that the court has yet to decide about Váhostav’s restructuring plan.
